dA 5Star FAQs

Q: What 5-star reviews are supported?

A: It supports 5-star reviews of:

  • iOS, iPadOS, watchOS, macOS apps
  • Podcasts on Apple Podcasts.

Q: How do I enter URLs?

A: Here are some examples:

  • iOS, iPadOS, watchOS and macOS apps: https://apps.apple.com/app/slopes/id643351983
  • Podcast URLs: https://podcasts.apple.com/podcast/independence/id1238555061.

Q: My app have more 5-star reviews than it claims!

A: Currently it only supports about recent 500 reviews from each country and territory (including non-5-star ones). If you know a way to fetch all reviews without signing into the Apple developer account, please let me know. I would love to fix it.

Q: Does it support iCloud sync?

A: iCloud sync is supported on the iOS version. A future update to the macOS version will also include iCloud sync.

Q: Will you support non 5-star reviews?

A: No.

Q: My app has a 5-star review but the content is negative or spam. I don't want to see it.

A: You can choose to hide the review in the iOS and iPadOS version. This feature will also be added to the macOS version in a future release. Stay tuned.

Q: How do you pronounce the app name?

A: D-A-Five-Star.

Q: What does "dA" mean?

A: dA stands for DoleeArts.

Q: Tell me about pricing.

A: This is not a question. But OK. dA 5Star uses a one-time upfront purchase model. I have no plans to put it on sale at any time. The price will only increase when I add more features. If you already purchased before, don't worry you will get the new features for free. This pricing strategy only applies to dA 5Star, not my other (future) apps.

Q: Do you have a press kit?

A: Yes, you can find the press kit here.

Q: I have more questions!

A: That exclamation point really scared me. But sure, tweet @DoleeYang.
